Patients were recruited and the ossicle underneath the patellar tendon was surgically removed. The majority of participants experienced little to no pain, therefore the surgery was successful. Their final conclusion is that in chronic cases, surgery can be successful. |

Patients were recruited and the ossicle was removed under surgery as well as a tibial tuberplasty was performed. Majority of patients were able to return to normal activities and sports. Their recommendation is that people who are not successful with other treatments should consider surgery. |
